NCA Report Shows More Americans Drinking Coffee and Getting Out of the House                                                                                                                                                                                                             The percentage of Americans who reported drinking coffee in the past day reached its highest level in two years (66%), and coffee drinkers are steadily returning to consuming coffee outdoors as epidemic concerns ease.                                                                                                                                                                                                             These are two of the key elements of the first National Coffee Data Trends (NCDT) 2022 report released by the National Coffee Association. Among Americans who have had coffee in the past day, 84% have prepared at least one cup of coffee at home, while 27% have had coffee prepared outside the home. Forty-three percent of Americans drink "specialty coffee" - previously classified as "gourmet" on the NCDT - which is the highest score to date.
